Real Madrid seem to be going into further problems, this time not with injuries or results, but Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez not involved in training.

Marca have reported that the duo of James Rodriguez, who is currently injured and Gareth Bale, who already has a history of rifts, have  not joined the training with the team.

This becomes even more notable when you consider that it was the same duo that left the ground 10 minutes before the match had come to an end.

The team started training immediately after their match against Real Betis. Madrid is set face Galatasaray up next in a Champions League fixture. With them not involved in training, it is highly unlikely that the duo will feature in the fixture on Tuesday.

Although, Rodriguez’s injury meant that he would not feature in the Champions League fixture, Bale’s exclusion from the training meant that Bale is also not likely to feature in the match.

After the match which the duo left early, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane had said: “I don’t think it’s a lack of respect at all,” Zidane said.

“Both players were here before the game to cheer on their team-mates, that’s the most important thing.”

“We lost two points, it was an opportunity to add more, but I stay with the positive,” Zidane had said after the match. “There is also a rival and they have also put us in difficulties, which is normal.

“It is true that we have all lost points, but this is the best League in the world and there is is no easy game, it does not exist. Every team can get you into difficulties and that is why it is the best league in the world. It is not easy.”

“We are not going to always score five goals. We know that when we create chances, that is the most important thing. Our rhythm, intensity and overall game were all perfect, we just have to put the ball in the net.

“We will continue and it will be a very difficult league until the end and that is what that there is. All teams have lost points, but as I said there are no rivals against which you win easily and you have to accept it. We must do more to earn more victories, but we are not doing so badly.”
