Albedo becomes broken after the release of Cinnabar Spindle in Genshin Impact
Unlike other five-star characters, Albedo didn’t have his signature weapon since his release back in the 1.3 update. The only viable weapon for him was a three-star weapon, Harbinger of Dawn, that provided additional Crit Rate and Crit DMG. However, miHoYo has now released a great four-star weapon, Cinnabar Spindle, that unlocks his maximum potential.

The passive of Cinnabar Spindle states,” Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 80% of DEF. The effect will be triggered no more than once every 1.5s and will be cleared 0.1s after the Elemental Skill deals DMG.” Furthermore, the weapon also provides an additional 69.0% DEF, which is perfect for Albedo.
Since most of Albedo’s damage scales from his defense; thus, the four-star weapon increases his damage both from sub-stat and passive. In addition to that, the elemental skill damage will also depend on increased defense that the weapon provides. Interestingly, Albedo’s elemental skill has a very little cooldown. Therefore, dealing more frequent increased damage won’t be a problem with the help of Cinnabar Spindle.
