Ganyu belongs to the Cryo element and is a bow user. Although some players don’t like bow characters’ gameplay, her tremendous damage is enough reason to change their opinion. Furthermore, she was compared to a four-star bow character, Amber, who is considered the worst character in the game.

Some thought she will be just a five-star with good character design; however, everyone was shocked to see her damage after her release. It’s been over a year since her first release and miHoYo has also released many five-star characters. Naturally, many players are doubting her and even wondering if they should invest in her.

Regardless of everyone’s opinion, Ganyu is still the most broken character in the game. Her charged shot can eliminate any opponent in seconds. Furthermore, she can play the role of both the main damage dealer and support character. Thanks to her elemental burst, Ganyu can constantly deal AoE Cryo damage in a huge radius.

The only issue with Ganyu is while using her charged attack, it leaves her wide open. Because of this, it becomes harder to aim at opponents; however, with the help of a shield character, Ganyu doesn’t face any problems. Therefore, it’s best to always pair her up with Zhongli or Diona.
