The news of the romance between Marcus Jordan, the 32-year-old son of Michael Jordan, and Larsa Pippen, the 49-year-old former wife of Scottie Pippen, caused an uproar in the NBA. On the latest episode, ‘Spilling Family Secrets‘, Marcus asked Larsa a tricky question about her relationship with her 14-year-old daughter. Her response provided a unique look into the life of Larsa Pippen.

After roasting his legendary dad Michael Jordan on his vulnerabilities, Marcus Jordan turned to his 17 years older beau for an honest motherhood take.

Is Larsa Pippen a strict parent?

“Do you feel like I’m strict in certain ways?,” asked Larsa to her boyfriend. Marcus immediately agreed with Larsa saying “ you started super strict.” Larsa Pippen, the former wife of Scottie Pippen, was aware that parenting four children could be demanding. Hence, she began with a strict approach but gradually became more lenient as her fourth child arrived. Sophia, her 14-year-old daughter, is the one who changed Larsa’s parenting style. In fact, she considers her a mini version of herself.

Marcus even said that she loves Sophia so much that “You’ll let her get away with a murder.”

“I have a disciplined routine and kept them busy,” says Larsa. The 49-year-old believes that having a good routine is essential for success, and she always cheers her kids on, even when they deviate from it.

She signed them up for different sports, but when they felt like they couldn’t continue, she encouraged them to get back on track. Notably, during the same conversation, Marcus revealed a certain activity that MJ could never get on track with.

Michael Jordan is only human

At 6’6″ tall, Michael Jordan was a force to be reckoned with on the court, instilling fear into the hearts of his opponents. However, regarding his family, Black Jesus is simply “dad” to his son Marcus.

Despite his dominance on the court, the Chicago Bulls legend turns out to be a bit of a novice regarding water sports, as he has no swimming abilities. Marcus confirms this, saying that even though his father has a yacht and two fishing boats, he can’t swim but survives in the water.
