In the women’s game, Serena Williams has been one of the most instrumental forces. She has dominated the scenes for over two decades and the hunger in her still remains the same. Over the years, she has been a role model for a lot of youngsters who are avid tennis fans.

Recently, Serena Williams revealed a collection of her latest collaboration with Nike. She revealed her liking for fashion and if one has seen her outfits over the years, one can sense that the American legend pays good attention to it.

The 23-time Major holder spoke on this and stated, “When I step on the court, I definitely want to stand out. Like to be different. I just like taking a chance when it comes to design. Love bold colors and a print. I didn’t even tell the designers this, we were just on so much of the same wavelength that they felt the same way, and it definitely gives you that nostalgic feel.”

Serena Williams’ best performance was in Melbourne in 2021

Reflecting on Williams’ season so far, she began competing at the Australian Open. She started off the event brilliantly but hit a roadblock in the semifinal when she lost to eventual champion Naomi Osaka

After that, she was not seen on the Tour for a while. She then resumed her season in Rome, in preparation for the French Open. However, she failed to impress on clay this season. Later, at the Wimbledon Championships, she lost in the opening round due to unfortunate circumstances. She sprained her ankle in the early stages and had to withdraw herself.

Since then, she has been away and is expected to make a return in the final Grand Slam event of the season, the US Open. It will be interesting to see how far the superstar goes into the event.
