Alongside the form, he has been dealing with injuries too. In their last game against Montreal Tigers in Global T20 Canada, he got injured and retired hurt for 0. This incident had happened when Yuvraj-led Toronto was chasing 137 in 20 overs. His dismissal brought Yuvraj Singh on the field. He faced Fawad Ahmed’s first ball where he didn’t take any run. However, while facing the second ball, he felt discomfort in his back. He couldn’t bear the pain and left the field soon after. Although that didn’t affect his team’s performance as they performed well and beat the Montreal Tigers by four wickets with 2.3 overs to spare.

Chirag Suri stood up for Toronto Nationals, scoring 52 runs in just 37 balls, including seven fours and a six. Along with him, Chris Green scored 30 off 29 and Ravinderpal Singh scored 15 off 12.
