Henry Cejudo taunts Conor McGregor yet again

This is not the first time ‘The Messenger’ has instructed ‘Notorious’ to focus on his takedown defense. Earlier in March, he replied to a video of McGregor working on his punches.

And that’s actually what the problem is! You should be working your your takedown defense.” He tagged the Irish fighter and even labeled him ‘McTapper’ as he did in his latest tweet to ‘Notorious’

It is a taunt to ‘the Notorious’ whose only defeats in the UFC have come via submission. First, he lost to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 via rear-naked choke. Later at UFC 229, he submitted to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Also, McGregor has 2 more submission losses from his days fighting in Ireland.

‘Notorious’ says he wants to make up for lost time and compete at least three times a year and made a triumphant return to the Octagon in January. He defeated Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds. However, his conditioning to go deep hasn’t been tested as of yet and it will be very soon.

‘Notorious’ was promised the winner of the Nurmagomedov- Ferguson UFC Lightweight Championship fight. However, the Coronavirus means that the UFC events are off the table until Dana White’s Fight Island is ready.

‘The Eagle’ hinted at a September return to the Octagon. Will ‘Notorious’ to be inactive until then? Or will he face Justin Gaethje who is rumored to be his 3rd opponent for 2020?

Triple C’s taunts too could indicate that it is just a matter of time before the Gaethje fight is made official. ‘Notorious’ got one over on Diaz. He will certainly look to silence ‘The Messenger’ by working on his takedown defense.
