The 2024 PGA Tour is officially coming to an end. With the last Tournament ongoing, i.e. the RSM Classic, it would be the last of the 47 of the official event season. Players took the chance to compete with the best and showcase their skills in the game with 39 regular-season events and 8 post-playoff fall events. Fans can witness the best 65 players competing to end their season on a high and conquer the final official tour event.

While there is another event taking place in December, i.e. the Hero World Challenge hosted by Tiger Woods. This would be a great treat for the fans to witness players and golf continuing even after the official tour ended. The tournament will feature 20 top golfers to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation. However, it is an unofficial PGA Tour, so it can not be seen in the schedule. But what can be seen is the 2025 schedule, which was officially unveiled on the website of the PGA Tour.

PGA Tour official schedule 2025

The ending of everything brings up a new start. As the season 2024 is about to conclude, 2025 will have 28 events, with some new inclusions on the list. The list starts with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship from January 13-19 in Ka’upulehu-Kona, Hawaii, and ends with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix, Arizona.

Players will be competing for $69 million of total prize money in the 2025 season. This is the highest PGA Tour Champions’ prize money in the 45-season. Sharing about the coming season, PGA Tour President Miller Brady said; “The 2025 season is sure to be a thrilling one, and we look forward to another fantastic year.”

The 2025 season will be hosting five senior major championships, including the Regions Tradition, the Senior PGA Championship, the Kaulig Companies Championship, The U.S. Senior Open Championship, and the Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex. The senior major championship will take place between May and July.

Addition to the PGA Tour 2025 schedule

The 25-event season will have fresh additions in 2025 with the Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida. Along with a team golf event, the American Family Insurance Championship and a redesigned TPC Wisconsin will be added to the schedule. Brady, while sharing about the new addition, said, “We are thrilled about the possibilities created through our new partnerships with James Hardie and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.”

He additionally shared about the new addition that the new event will offer a unique opportunity to tee along with iconic football players offering a great experience to the players and fans. Fans can witness live action at the GOLF Channel, the official partner. While other than that, events can be watched via 20+ broadcast channels depending on the event partnership.
