This leads one to wonder how interesting family get-togethers are. Korda addressed the question in a recent interview saying, “It’s very boring.”

At the Aramco team series in New York, earlier last month, a reporter asked Korda what her family gatherings were like. Korda said that they just “chill” together. She said, “Honestly, we do; that’s all we do,” when the reporter stated that she could not just imagine the diverse sports family just chilling together.

She pointed out that since they all have busy schedules and their own lives, they don’t get a lot of time together and said, “So whenever we are together, we just like to spend some quality time together away from everyone.”

Many fans would expect the three siblings to be partying or having a blast, but Nelly dismissed those ideas. She said, “Honestly, we just chill and watch TV or just talk.” Korda said she knew it was quite boring, but the family preferred it. “We like it,” she said.

Nelly’s elder sister is Jessica Korda, who plays alongside her on the PGA Tour. The 29-year-old ranks 12th in the world and has a total of six wins. The two sisters also have a younger brother, Sebastian Korda. He takes after his mother and father and is a pro tennis player.

Petr Korda, the Korda family’s head, once won the Australian Open and ranked No. 2 in the world in tennis. Nelly’s mother, Regina, was also a professional tennis star once. She even competed in the 1988 Olympics.
