And she ended her professional career playing the same major she won in 2014, the US Women’s Open. Given she is a previous winner, the buzz was even more this year on Pebble Beach for the former LPGA star’s last hole, where she made a beautiful 30-foot putt

Michelle Wie West had to bid goodbye to the golf world real early. And the reason for her retirement was not one but several. She has a daughter now to take care of and had been subjected to injuries as well, which is why she had to take this life-altering decision. Wie West even has arthritis in both her arms and had to go through surgery on her right hand after being diagnosed with a fracture and nerve entrapment.

But as the saying goes a sportsperson cannot abstain from the temptation of field and sports for long, so is the situation with this former LPGA Pro as well. She has taken up a new interest. And her new sporting escapade is boxing.
