‘We’re All Fans’: Golf Fans Go Berserk as Latest Tour Event Has a Subtle NBA Touch

Many athletes from other sports are always interested in playing other games. NBA greats like LeBron James and Michael Jordan have become avid golfers. They enjoy spending time on the course occasionally. In a previous interview, Jordan listed other elite players he would want on his ideal golf team: including himself, Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer, Davis Love III, and Ben Hogan. Max Homa, on the other hand, is an obsessive NBA fan, particularly of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Currently, both the golf and basketball worlds are gearing up for different tournaments. While many top golfers are working diligently to prepare for the Memorial Tournament, Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat will take place in a few hours. This time, too, different sports worlds are all set to collide, and fans are all for it!

In it Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Scottie Scheffler, Jack Nicklaus, Sahith Reddy Theegala, Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas, Harris English, Collin Morikawa could be seen posing alongside the prestigious trophy.

Not only were they posing with the trophy, but one prominent NBA star also participating at the Memorial Pro-Am Tournament. NBA star, Steph Curry, who plays golf fairly well and has a low handicap, will be taking part in the ongoing event. Jordan Spieth, the 11th-ranked golfer in the world, and Keith Mitchell, a PGA Tour winner, are also part of his group. With so much excitement for both NBA and Golf games, let’s see how fans reacted to the matchup!
