Following the Lotte Championship in Hawaii, the LPGA Tour is headed back to Los Angeles for the DIO Implant LA Open. Another important LPGA event of the year, the tournament promises competition and entertainment to fans. This will be the fourth edition of the event since the 2020 edition was canceled due to the ongoing pandemic.
With a sizeable field, the LA Open will take place at the Wilshire Country Club – a destination rich with its own history.

The club has been around since 1919 when a group of businessmen came up with the idea of a golf course. The LA Open – which begins LA events for the tour – has been played since 2019. An initiative for the club, the venue offers various information and facilities for people stopping by. Not only do they host the LPGA Tour, but also the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions and the PGA Championship.
Who won last season?
The LA Open also features 144 professionals on the field, with players like Inbee Park and Danielle Kang headlining the event. Canada’s Brooke Henderson won last time and has returned in 2022 as the defending champion.
