The competitive field of the final DP World Tour event
Players from both the European Tour and the South African Tour compete in the event. Dean Burmester, who is one of the favorites to win the African Tour, will be competing alongside others. Burmester is also the highest-ranked player competing in the event, ranking at 56th in the world. Joining him are also the European side’s Ryder Cup Vice-captains for the coming year: Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts and Dane Thomas Bjorn.

Bjorn has been in fantastic form recently, winning the Legends Tour’s MCB Tour Championship in Mauritius just last week. Colsaerts, on the other hand, is looking to break his streak of not winning a Tour event since 2019 at the Amundi Open de France.
