Tiger Woods went back in time during the PNC Championship

Golf legend Tiger Woods’ talent is not a mystery to his fans. Millions of people follow Woods in his footsteps to try to become as successful as him. However, Charlie Woods is quite lucky to have the golf great on his back to support his talent and skills.

Woods has been teaching his son all kinds of new techniques and styles of playing to ready him for professional tournaments. However, his love for golf is still remembered by his performances and playing styles from his prime years. And recently, Woods decided to do something no one expected to visit down memory lane.

In his post-match press conference on Sunday at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Woods was asked about his decision to use a 3-iron on 18. “I thought that was a good one,” he replied. “The 4-iron yesterday on 14 was pretty good, as well. I got a few texts last night. Gave me some grief over 18. It was basically me rolling the clock back a little bit, and hitting one of the old ones.”

Fans are well aware of the fact that Woods has been suffering from immense underlying pain in his right leg. And the unhealed injuries often cause the golf star to limp during his game on the field. However, Charlie explained how, according to him, his father played better than his expectations.

“I already knew what he was capable of…that’s the best he’s ever played in a while,” Charlie said. “and that kind of shocked me a little bit”. The little golfer was trying to express how good he felt about his old man’s performance. But the GOAT can never give up on his sense of humor. Woods laughed and said, “I used to be good,” making everyone else in the room laugh too!
