The competitive field of the Soudal
On the 2023 European Tour schedule, the Soudal Open is the 20th competition of the year. A talented young English golfer, Sam Horsfield, took the title previous year. This year, the event will be headlined by top players, including Marcel Siem, Jordan Smith, and Yannik Paul, who are competing at the tournament.
Moreover, this week’s field includes some of the big names and various local Belgian players. This includes Swedish professional golfer Alexander Bjork, Belgian professional golfer Thomas Detry, and Spanish professional golfer Adrian Otaegui.

Thomas Pieters, the best golfer from Belgium, will be missed this year because he switched to LIV Golf. Instead, he will be playing in Oklahoma in the latest LIV Golf event.

The 2023 Soudal Open has a prize pool set at $2 million, with the winner getting a $340,000 grand prize. The golfer in the second-place will receive $220,000. The payouts for the remaining slots will be based on their standing in the tournament.
