The 2025 AdventHealth Championship is coming to a thrilling end. The tournament is being held at the Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri, and everyone is waiting to see who will take home the trophy. Currently, Alvaro Ortiz and Kim Seong-hyeon are tied for the lead with an impressive score of -13 each, while Carter Jenkins is close behind with a score of -10, and Brandon Hoelzer is at -5. The competition is heating up, but what will the winner take home apart from the trophy? Well, quite a lot!

The winner will receive a substantial prize of $180,000, which is 18% of the total purse of $1,000,000. Additionally, the winner will earn 500 Korn Ferry Tour points, which will significantly boost their chances of securing a PGA Tour card for the following season. The top 20 players at the end of the 2025 season will earn a PGA Tour card, and the priority order into the fall events will be based on their combined points between the regular season and Korn Ferry Tour Finals.

The icing on the cake for the winner will be around 13 Official World Golf Ranking points, a little boost to their global standing. The prize money is substantial, with the champion banking $180,000, while the runner-up gets $90,000, and third place collects $60,000. Fourth and fifth places are worth $45,000 and $38,000, respectively, making this a weekend worth playing for.

The AdventHealth Golf Championship is honoring Grayson Murray’s legacy

The AdventHealth Golf Championship will present its inaugural ‘Grayson Murray Be Kind to One Another Legacy Award’ this weekend. The award is a tribute to the late golfer Grayson Murray’s positive impact and his courageous fight against mental health challenges. It will be given to individuals who embody Murray’s belief in spreading kindness and supporting those experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. The award will recognize a Korn Ferry Tour player or caddie, as well as a local community member or organization that reflects Murray’s values.

Grayson’s family emphasized the importance of community support and openness in addressing mental health issues. As they wrote, “We need more individuals, like Grayson, who are willing to share their journey. For all of us, checking in on friends and family, even when things seem to be going smoothly, is so important. Ask the hard questions. Let them know you are there and willing to assist in accessing help. As a community, we are fortunate to have treatment facilities and providers who truly care and are passionate about the care they give.”
