Keith Mitchell is on his way to create history at the 2025 Truist Championship
Currently heading into the third round of the sixth signature event, Keith Mitchell shot the best round of his career with a 3-under 67 on Friday. Speaking about the stunning scores that propelled him to the top of the leaderboard, an excited Mitchell said: “A lot more up and downs. The greens were tougher to hit because we had a lot more club, a little bit more wind and the rain. It definitely played tougher. Didn’t hit as many greens, but I thought my short game was pretty good. I’ve got to keep my head down and keep moving.” If Keith Mitchell wins the tournament, he will become the lowest-ranked player to win a signature event all the while keeping Rory McIlroy from claiming his fifth Truist Championship title.
