The American golfer has been in the headlines for being named to the US Presidents Cup squad. While the news has gathered praise from most of the golfing world, it hasn’t gone well with renowned author, Nick Adams. This resulted in a Twitter banter ending with an epic response by the 4-time PGA Tour winner.

Max Homa gives a fitting reply to Nick Adams

An author for a long time, Nick Adams came to light in 2017 when the then-American president, Donald Trump, promoted his books on Twitter.

Learning about Homa‘s selection in the American squad for the Presidents Cup, Adams took to his Twitter handle, taking a dig at the 31-year-old American sensation.

“Max Homa can’t even place Top 10 in a Major Championship and now he’s being selected for the Presidents Cup. This is a stain on the sport of golf. Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, and Brooks Koepka are all more deserving and superior players,” he wrote.

The Tweet took no time to receive a backlash from the golfing world. However, what topped the list was an epic reply from Homa himself. Quoting tweeting Adam’s reply, Homa shared a photo with the caption “here is some attention.”

This isn’t the first time that Adams opted to take a dig at Homa. Scrolling through his Twitter handle. it is noticeable that Adams has been a constant critic of the California-born player.
