This is exactly what happened. Both Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren made it a point to not let their equation affect the upbringing of their kids. They deeply understood the value both parents hold in the child’s developmental years and did not shy away from doing their respective parts.

In the initial years of their divorce, Elin talked about the same and praised Tiger for being a good parent. She said, “In the beginning, you tamp down the animosity for the kids’ sake. I’m not going to deny that I went through the wringer. But I don’t think I doubted we’d end up here. That was always my dream, that the kids can have two loving parents that show respect for each other. And I feel that’s what they have.”, according to Bleacher Report.
