Unbeatable golf legend, ‘Long’ John Daly has proven himself once again. But this time, it was not against a well-known professional golfer. Famous golf podcast CountryClubAdjacent recently shared a hilarious video of the golf star casually throwing an exciting challenge to the whole crew. And it was for 500 dollars!

Has John Daly still got what it takes to win a bet on the field?

Sitting in a cart, chilling, John Daly decided to challenge the entire team of CountryClubAdjacent to play against him. And it was all a matter of one shot. A member of the podcast, Griff Pippin can be seen trying to joke about Daly’s records. “They only have two more majors than us. That’s not that many!” he said.

However, Daly’s bet was pretty simple. “Me and my boy here Andrew will take you guys on 500 a hole. Scramble” said the ‘Bad Boy of Golf’. The crew instantly accepted the challenge. Letting the younger ones play first, Daly sat and saw Jake Adams, who is also part of the podcast, attempt his best shot.

Adams’ shot was simply for show purposes knowing he was competing against a 19-time PGA Tour winner. Right after Adams took the shot, Daly being Daly started teasing the guy. “Hang on, you might hear a windshield,” the golfer said.

However, when he stepped up to the tee, his fellows couldn’t help but scream in wonder about his strong hit. “Is that the fairway?” Daly asked. “Yes sir!” they replied. However, Adams admitted how he already knew he didn’t have a chance at winning against the golf ace. “I mean what do you expect, you know? There’s no way we’re gonna beat John Daly!” he said.

Towards the end of the video, it was clear that Daly had won the bet with flying colors as he said, “I’m a $1000 up, sh**, let’s go to the bar.” It has been decades since the golfer has been playing professional golf. Despite having numerous painful injuries and surgeries in his career, Daly has no plans to stop! The golfer is currently in his 50s and is still ready to rock on the field.
