Tiger on players defecting to LIV Golf

It is a known fact that Sergio has joined LIV Golf. While quitting the European-based DP tour, Garcia said, “I want to play where I feel loved, and right now in the European Tour I am not feeling loved.”

Tiger Woods, however, has shared his contentions about players defecting from LIV golf and joining the Saudi-backed LIV golf in the past. Although not specific to Garcia, Woods has shared his views about players joining LIV golf and it’s not as positive as some would think.

According to him, some players would never experience how it is to play the tour and that is sad for him. The world-famous pro golfer rejected an $800 million offer from Greg Norman to join the Saudi-backed league in order to protect his PGA Tour legacy.
