If not a golfer, what profession would Tiger Woods be in?

Tiger had a great relationship with his father. Earl Woods retired from active military service in 1974. By that time, he had earned the high rank of lieutenant colonel. His father’s service inspired Tiger Woods to make many donations to charitable causes that helped veterans and military families. However, it also inspired him to join the military, only if he wasn’t a golfer.

During an interview with Lad Bible four years ago, the interviewer asked Woods if he could choose any profession apart from golf, who would he pick. Tiger replied by saying, “I probably would have followed my father’s footsteps and been in the military.”

Though Tiger Woods didn’t join the military, he did get a taste of army life. In 2004, two years before his father’s death, the father-son duo went to Fort Bragg. The place was close to Earl as he was stationed there with the Green Berets during his service. During their time at the military installation in North Carolina, Tiger executed some of the military activities, making his father proud.

The close bond between Woods and his father can be expressed through several stories in the past. Despite being one of the most successful golfers of all time, Woods still admires the life of a militant. All because of his love for his late father.
