Four incur injuries in a golf cart rollover incident

On Saturday, Cozy Hills Campground in Bantam became the spot for a distressing accident involving a golf cart. One of Connecticut’s most popular camping sites, the campground sees tons of adults and children coming in for getaways.

While golf is comparatively safer than more aggressive sports like football, unlucky accidents aren’t unheard of. The rollover accident is one of those tragic events. As per NBC Connecticut, dispatchers revealed that emergency personnel were called to the spot at around 9:15 am. Witnesses requested both an ambulance and LifeStar. They made the request on the basis of the number of patients and the nature of the injuries.

However, firefighters revealed that they later canceled the request for LifeStar, as it was not necessary for the situation. It is not uncommon for a minor accident to take a big turn down the road. The readiness of witnesses and dispatchers greatly helped the four victims after the rollover took place.

The emergency crew took injured individuals to the hospital

The emergency crews on the spot transported the four people to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Connecticut. They are now receiving treatment for non-threatening injuries.
