Bryson DeChambeau is an eight-time PGA winner who now plays on the LIV Tour. The golfer recently left the PGA Tour and joined the rival Saudi-backed league. The player has had beef with many fellow players and does not have many friends in the golf community.

But somehow, DeChambeau’s opposition is not limited to just golf. Once a famous football star tweeted about the golf pro and called him a “wan**r”. The news went viral in no time and took the internet by a storm.

DeChambeau quickly made headlines with his performance in the opening round in the Friday fourballs, where he failed to shout ‘fore’ and his ball left the line and hit a woman’s leg. However, he managed to find the fairway later and hit a massive tee shot playing alongside Scottie Scheffler. The two reached a draw with Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.

DeChambeau played another round with Scheffler as his partner against Viktor Hovland and Tommy Fleetwood. But again, controversy found its way to DeChambeau’s game during the first hole itself. Dechambeau hit the ball from less than three feet and landed the putter on the ground right after the shot.

It was a gesture to show how short the putt was as compared to his club as he uses an elongated putter. It was a strange complaint. Ian Wright, unhappy with DeChambeau’s antics on the field, brought the matter online and tweeted “DeChambeau’s a wan**r” with a clown emoji next to it.

Lots of fans supported Wright’s tweet about the golf ace and even called DeChambeau “A disgrace to the game.” Even an American fan showed complete agreement with his tweet. And it was not only the fans that felt this way about DeChambeau. The Sky Sports commentators also made a few statements while the match; even called the player “Classless”.
