Dustin Johnson claimed Bryson DeChambeau couldn’t beat him at his game

Johnson and DeChambeau are currently playing in the same Saudi-funded league. The two were among the first few players to leave the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf. However, there was a time when both of them played on the PGA Tour. And DeChambeau’s long drives were the talk of the town.

But Johnson had a higher rank than DeChambeau. And during his pre-tournament conference, Johnson claimed that his game was far better than DeChambeau’s. “I feel like my game and where it’s at and how far I hit it is far enough,” Johnson stated“Right now, I feel like if I’m playing my game, he can hit it as far as he wants to, and I don’t think he’s going to beat me.”

According to Johnson, his game was good enough to stay ahead of Bryson DeChambeau. And when asked about him going all out on his swings, Johnson joked about it to make things better understandable. He laughed and said, “I’d probably hurt something. That’s why I don’t do it. And I wouldn’t find half of them.”

Johnson hits long shots only for fun

DJ admitted that there are times when he hits long shots. But he generally likes to play his game pretty straight. He said“When I’m on the range sometimes I’ll start hitting them hard just for fun, and I generally hit them pretty straight,”. He said that it depended on whether he was playing on a wide driving range or a golf course with a narrow fairway.
