Ever since the LIV Golf league started posing a threat to the PGA Tour, several changes have been made to the traditional ways of the once untouchable chain of systems. Fans react to the latest shocking PGA Tour announcement
The PGA and LPGA Tours have been trying to stay in competition ever since LIV Golf came into existence. Several players have already fled to the Saudi-backed league for its lucrative offers. However, the former tour has decided to act first toward an upcoming opportunity. And that involves both male and female golfers.

There were rumors that LIV Golf was coming up with a new tour for women as well as other mixed events featuring both male and female players. Numerous players on the LPGA Tour including, Nelly Korda, also gave their reactions about the same. However, the PGA Tour along with the LPGA Tour has allegedly decided to come up with one such mixed event in their upcoming season.
A tweet by the ForePlay Podcast said, “Breaking News: QBE Shootout becoming joint PGA/LPGA Event in 2023”. And here is what the fans have to say about it.

As expected, many of the LPGA Tour supporters are super-excited to witness such a tournament. According to these fans, the event will prove to be one of the biggest and most-deserved opportunities for women golfers.

Despite all the reactions from the fans, the news has shaken the entire golf world to a new level. This might be a great opportunity for the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour to gain the attention of fans across the globe. And acting first might also give them an upper hand over the Greg Norman-led LIV breakaway circuit.
