Charley Hull is famous for her exceptional on-course performance and her off-course habits. Apart from that, she has been in the headlines recently for her remarks on fitness. Well, every golf enthusiast would agree with the great fitness of the British golfer. However, what if she only takes care of that and not of golf?

Surprisingly right, the shocking revelation of the golfer has been a tough one to believe. The 28-year-old professional recently at the PIF Saudi Ladies International has shared about her regime. The British golfer stated, “I want to try and get my 5K run time down to 20 minutes by the end of the year.” As a golfer, having great milestone challenges is great, but it does leave space for a golf training regime.

Later she was asked how training for the 5K milestone would improve her golf. Answering that, the world no. 11 shared a shocking reality, saying, “I don’t train for golf. I have zero interest in training for golf. I think golf training is a load of rubbish.” She is the first golfer who came out clean and shared about not training for the sport in which she excels. But for everyone who is mesmerized by seeing the great flowing swing and long distance on the fairways. How is it even possible without training? It is something that will be tough to believe.

While other golfers have been active trainees of the sport, notably. Her remark questioning the training of other LPGA professionals has started an outrage on social media. Fans have started to comment with their thoughts, but Hull doesn’t care about them, as the recent story on Instagram showcases her carefree side.

Sharing a photo with the quote, “If everybody likes you, you have a serious problem.” She wrote above it, “I don’t live life to please people I live me life to please meself.” The story has been a clear statement to all her haters. However, this isn’t the first time she is getting hate or suggestions from the fans.

Her training regime, which she shared on social media, has been a constant worry for fans as a golfer.

With her statement shared above, the combination of being an aspiring golfer and an athlete can be seen. Other than just sharing about her regime, she has also confirmed her preference for the training. Charley Hull said during an interview with Sky Sports, “I don’t want to just be a golfer. I want to be an athlete. I train because it’s good for my mental health.” A unique take as a golfer, as most others focus on improving their swing and trajectory, Hull is practicing her strength and endurance.

The golfer’s social media is proof of her rigorous routine of fitness. She last posted about her session on 11th Feb 2025 with the caption, “Not always cardio. Strength sessions are a must, too.” The carousel of her gym photos showcased her heavy dumbbell lifting, push-ups and barbell lunges, and kettlebell exercises too.
