Marriage isn’t just two people exchanging vows, but a consistent effort that one puts in for the entirety of the relationship. Keeping those vows every day and supporting one’s partner in the ups and down is what marriage is. And the wife of the PGA Tour pro, Adam Schenk, has established a milestone for all the ladies out there. Her dedication has become the epitome of a lifelong partnership.

Adam Schenk is lucky to have Kourtney as his wife

The latest update by GOLF.com is one of the most heartwarming things you will see. At the Valspar Tournament, Adam Schenk attempted to win his first PGA Tour championship, and his wife, Kourtney Schenk, wasn’t going to miss it. She witnessed Schenk’s participation in the final group on Sunday at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort as “really, really important.” The pro had been leading after 54 holes.

The pro golfer entered the final round of the Valspar Championship with a one-shot lead on Sunday, looking for his first PGA Tour win. Therefore he wanted his wife with him. Kourtney talked to Cara Banks of NBC Sports. She said, “We were working on the nursery while he was playing. So that was a good distraction. However, she added, “And then he called me and he was like, ‘Okay, so when you get here tomorrow?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, really early because that’s my only option.” She had to be there to support her husband because he asked her to come, despite being eight months pregnant.

Mrs. Schenk revealed she woke up at 2 a.m. to get to the airport and luckily got into her husband’s hotel room right as he was waking up. Later, like every good husband, the pro made her a scrumptious breakfast.

Kourtney did not only make it to Tampa in time for Sunday’s final round, but she was also out walking the course with her husband — while being 8 months pregnant. “I’m feeling good. So I decided I would come out and walk 18,” she said.

How did the PGA Tour pro perform at the Valspar Championship?

Taylor Moore claimed victory at the Valspar Championship, whereas Schenk finished second on the leaderboard. He missed his chance by a little bit. However, his wife’s support will not change a bit. Prior to a misplaced shot that required him to punch out into the fairway with his left hand, Schenk and Moore were tied at 10 under going into the tournament’s final hole. The 31-year-old was unable to convert from there for par, and he narrowly missed the chance to contend for his first PGA Tour triumph in a playoff.

It was maybe Schenk’s worst tee-shot of the week. Due to the difficult break, Schenk had few options when his ball came within a few inches of a tree trunk. During the par-4 last hole, Schenk ultimately chose to hit a left-handed lay-up, but he put his ball in the fairway. Schenk’s third shot from 98 yards missed the back shelf and rolled back into the fringe around 40 feet distant.

According to Yahoo Schenk said, “I hit a really bad drive on the last hole. I toed it. Wish I could have lightly hit somebody and stayed where I had a chance to get to the green, but it did not, and I didn’t deserve it. I had a chance with the wedge shot that came up short, and then I had a chance with the putt, which surprisingly actually hit the pin and came close.”
