Lexi Thompson wishes her best friend a ‘Happy Birthday’

Thompson has always brought her mother to several golf events in the past. With a picture, of both of them together at one such tournament, the 26-year-old posted the photo as a story on her Instagram page. “Happy Birthday to my best friend”, wrote Lexi.

She further addresses the different roles her mother plays for her. Lexi Thompson wrote, “Role Model and the best mom a girl can ask for”. Though the age of Judy Thompson remains unknown, it surely must have been a joyous day at the Thompson house.

Lexi Thompson Once Addressed Her Mental Struggles Through an Instagram Post in 2018: ‘I Have Not Truly Felt Like Myself’

Judy was previously diagnosed with Breast cancer. Though she successfully overcame cancer, the medications for her diagnosis included Tamoxifen, which resulted in the birth of Uterine Cancer in her body. Nonetheless, the strong fighter she is, Judy was given the green light by the doctors and became cancer free once again in late 2017.

Thompson has adopted the fighting spirit of her mother. Though the golfer never had to undergo the same problems as her mother, the LPGA star did face massive scrutiny on the course.
