LPGA Hall of Famer Inbee Park has dominated golf for years. With seven major championships to her name, the golf pro has battled through adversity to grab every one of her 21 Tour wins since turning pro in 2006. But now the golf great has yet another field to flourish in, having once again jumped over many hurdles to get there: motherhood! And as she does so, the whole golf world, including her LPGA Tour peers, stands with her.

Park’s hardships on her path to parenthood

The seven-time major winner’s last event participation came in August 2022. Since then, she hasn’t been seen much in the golf world as she and her family celebrated her pregnancy. Later last year, Park announced that she would be giving birth to a baby girl this year.

Just hours ago, that time came to pass; however, it wasn’t a cakewalk. Similar to her wins in golf, in the hospital too, the LPGA star had to fight for every second as she faced the potential of a miscarriage. But fortunately, similar to most of her golf events, here also she triumphed.

No one was more excited than the South Korean golf great. “Just gave birth to my daughter this morning after 24 hours of labor at 39weeks and 6days!!” she wrote on Instagram. “We came to the hospital as a two and going out as a three.” As the entire golf world rejoiced with her and sent love her way, she thanked them all. “Thank u everyone for all the love and support,” she added.
