Stanford University student Rose Zhang, gave the world a once-in-a-blue-moon moment when she broke Tiger Woods’ 27-year-old record. The young golfer has blown every golf buff’s mind with her unmatched golfing skills. Although she is very early in her golfing career, 19-year-old Zhang has already achieved more than any professional golfer. She keeps giving her fans every reason to adore her and they can’t be blamed for doing so.

Recently, Rose Zhang won back-to-back NCAA Women’s Golf Championships for the second time in a row to celebrate her 12th victory. And she is the first golfer to win this title for two consecutive years, therefore setting up her own record. While she stands out there giving terrific performances, her fans didn’t fail to show their support for her.

As if beating Woods’ record wasn’t enough for Rose, she went on to be awarded the much deemed ANNIKA award for her stellar performances. The young golfer from California was honored with this prize from the one and only LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam, herself. And during the process of breaking old records and setting new ones, Zhang has gained quite a following. 

Besides her fantastic golf skills, her fans are appreciative of her down-to-earth personality. The golf community has accepted her as the new golf prodigy, and is eager to see Zhang play for other bigger events as well.

Zhang pays her gratitude for her NCAA wins

Although the 19-year-old is just at the start of her bright career, she doesn’t step back from showing her gratitude toward all the success she’s been achieving. Rose Zhang took to Instagram to pay her tributes. She posted a picture of herself holding the silverware and captioned it with two paragraphs thanking the lord and her team. Zhang wrote, “I love y’all sm, each one of you push me to be better beyond my limits and expectations.”

She further wrote, “I’m forever humbled to have these opportunities and experiences. And I cannot emphasize enough how much everyone’s support means to me, grateful beyond boundaries❤️.” Fans couldn’t help adoring her and went ahead to applaud the young golfer in her comment section. They wrote, “Great amateur career Rose, now go take the LPGA by storm and win the Open at Pebble! “Hello world””
