The US squad saw themselves defeated despite a dominating start on the first day of the Solheim Cup. The competition was not what the team expected to take place at the Finca Cortesin in Spain. And at the center of the whole patriotic drama was America’s own LPGA covergirl, Nelly Korda.

The younger Korda sibling found herself suffering from a devastating heartbreak of sorts as the last two matches played by the golfer in the tournament ended in her loss. However, her ardent followers now have something to lift up their spirits, as the professional took to Instagram to put on a smiling face, thanks to a very famous energizer!

The American professional was missing in action for the past few days following her team’s loss to its European rivals. Moreover, she did not post anything on Instagram after the end of the biennial event. But to the surprise of the golfing world, an update on the official social media handle of TaylorMade Golf saw the 25-year-old back on the internet.

In the series of videos uploaded by the American sports equipment manufacturing company, Korda was seen celebrating National Coffee Day in her own style as a member of the TaylorMade team. The 8-time LPGA Tour winner disclosed her “pick-me-up” drink before playing a round.

The 1X major champion revealed her go-to coffee order to be a “flat white”, which is a blend of foamed milk poured over a shot of expresso. Moreover, adding to her choice, the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship winner mentioned how she usually likes to find them in local coffee shops in the cities she visits during her tournaments, all the while sporting a smile at the camera.

Well, the fans can rest easy knowing that the LPGA star is back to her usual self in spite of the narrow loss at 14-14. Nevertheless, one can’t help but feel bad for the professional for having tasted a defeat despite the phenomenal start.

The 25-year-old experienced a good start to the prestigious tournament as she won the Friday Foursomes with her “clutch partner,” Allisen Corpuz, 1-up against Leona Maguire and Anna Nordqvist. She was also able to register a 5&3 win with Corpuz in the first session on Saturday against Celine Boutier and Georgia Hall. But the rest of the games saw the stumble of Korda as she failed to increase her number of victories.
