Brooks Koepka made waves in the golf community for his much-publicized enmity against Bryson DeChambeau. The rivalry eventually ended with a one-off golf match between the two, which Koepka won comfortably. However, he has been subjected to hostilities against other Tour golfers, which Koepka has time and again rebuffed. There was a time when reports were suggesting that Koepka had a fall-out with Dustin Johnson, which he settled by calling the latter a “kid”.

Koepka claims the media kept churning out stories
Koepka felt the disappointing performance in the Ryder Cup in Paris had prompted media houses to generate a story for the failure. “People like to make a story and run with it. It’s not the first time there’s been a news story that isn’t true that has gone out,” Koepka said.
“As far as the camaraderie [within the U.S. Ryder Cup team] it was fine, it was perfect. The problem is you guys try to find a reason why we lost and the simple reason is we didn’t play good.”
Team USA had suffered a humbling defeat to Team Europe, losing by 17½ points to 10½. The event was conducted at the Le Golf National in Paris.
