Elin Nordegren took the stage to talk about her time after her divorce from Tiger Woods

Nordegren was in shock after finding out everything related to the reported Tiger Woods controversy. And after the two split up, the Swedish model decided to stay away from the limelight for some time. But she finally stepped up in an interview with People Magazine. And it was the first time she was ever speaking about her divorce from Woods in public.

The woman talked about everything that happened during that time. But when she was asked how she was doing, she explained her situation in detail. “It is never easy,” she said. “Every day is a little easier than the one before, but I still have a lot of healing to do.” Nordegren talked about how she went through phases of emotions during that time. And that she was still not over the grief. She said, “I have been through stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children.”

However, she mentioned a positive side to her experience as well. Nordegren said, “I also feel stronger than I ever have.” She stated how she was extremely confident about all the decisions she took. And that she believed in herself and her decisions more than anything else.

Nordegren cleared the air about the violent rumors

There were rumors among the fans after Woods’ divorce that after Nordegren found out about the controversy, she hit the golfer with his club. Various speculations were being formed about the family, especially about Nordegren. And during that time, she was too busy handling her emotions to care about the ongoing rumors. However, she mentioned having the hardest time letting people know the truth behind the rumors.

“There was never any violence inside or outside our home. The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous,” Nordegren said. She also mentioned the incident when Woods crashed his car outside the house, and people assumed that Nordegren had something to do with it. Rather, she explained how she went outside to look for the golfer. And when she found him in the car, she did everything possible to get him out of there.
