However, to reassure fans, the golf beauty uploaded one of her regular, glamorous selfies on Twitter. But she was aware of Twitter’s crisis, thus stating that it could be her final post on the app. Here’s the tweet from Spiranac.

Incidentally, the post caught fire from the word go. Fans flocked to Spiranac’s tweet and penned their last feelings to her. Yet, many were expecting Twitter to float around for a while and believed the exasperation over shutting down was misunderstood. Moreover, Spiranac also added her own website link for fans to keep tabs on her, irrespective of Twitter’s situation.

Is Twitter actually shutting down?

While the claims have never been rebuffed concretely, it is evident that the social media giant is barely keeping up the pace. Musk reported that Twitter was conceding losses of $4 million each day, which led to the sacking of more than 50% of employees.

But it was the recent information regarding Musk’s ultimatum and its reactions that ignited the very existence of Twitter. Apparently, Musk has asked existing employees to work “hardcore” to build Twitter 2.0 or leave the company.

This eventually led to the temporary closure of office buildings and the suspension of badge access. According to the Platformer’s Zoë Schiffer, these were safety measures because “Elon Musk and his team are terrified employees are going to sabotage the company.”
