The third major tournament of the season is fast approaching. In less than a week, renowned and highly decorated golfers will compete at Los Angeles Country Club in California for the highly coveted title. A week prior to any major tournament is a big week for any golfer, as they usually engage in playing more golf and upping their game. Sergio Garcia lays back just days before the US Open

The Spanish golfer will probably remember his 2023 season for the rest of his life. After performing well in the LIV tournaments, he has had a roller coaster ride with the major championships of the current season.

In April, he performed below par in the Masters at Augusta. After his downtrodden run continued, and he could not make it onto the field of the PGA Championship either. While many expected this to be the case once more at the US Open, Garcia surprised them all by playing in the qualifier and earning his spot on the field.

However, it seems he’s now content with his handwork and is rewarding himself with some relaxation. The US Open will commence on June 15, and the LIV star has chosen to lay back and enjoy life before that. The golfer was busy having a fun day out with his wife at the Circuit of the Americas. He posted an array of pictures on his Instagram story, sharing glimpses of his car-riding sessions in a red Ferrari. It seemed like the Spaniard could not be happier; after all, in the pictures, he was seen smiling ear to ear!

Garcia is certainly defying odds with his pre-major activities, since most golfers play and practice even more before an important game. In fact, in his recent interview, Rory McIlroy also claimed that the best way to perform well at the majors was to play as much golf as possible in the week prior to the event. But clearly, the 43-year-old doesn’t agree with the World No. 3’s thoughts.

Garcia spends time with his wife and a few farm friends

Earlier this week, while celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary, the 43-year-old spent some time with his wife on the same ranch they got married at in 2017. Angela Garcia, the golfer?s wife, posted a few pictures from their trip, where the couple was seen having a good time away from the city madness.

It seems from his recent outings that Sergio Garcia knows how to prioritize his family and work in an orderly fashion. What are your thoughts about Garcia?s work-life balance and his fun sessions before the US Open?
