Chris Evert may have had one of the best tennis careers an athlete could hope for. However, her married life hasn’t been as pleasant as her professional life. In a 2011 interview, 2 years after her divorce from Greg Norman, the Tennis legend spoke about her regrets about breaking up her second marriage.

In 2006, Evert divorced her second husband of 18 years Andy Mill, an American downhill Skier. The couple ended their decade-long marriage after Evert started falling for golfing great Greg Norman. Following her divorce, Evert married Norman in 2008.

Nonetheless, unlike her marriage with Mill, the Tennis legend separated from Norman 15 months after marriage. Feeling dejected about breaking her marriage thrice, Chris Evert shared her thoughts in 2011.

Though at the time she felt it was the right call, Chris Evert then discussed how she ended up messing so many lives with her decision. “And when someone came into my life, I just left. I broke a lot of hearts. I broke Andy’s heart and broke my kids’ hearts. And I brought that into my next marriage, those issues that weren’t resolved”.

When Norman married the Tennis Hall of Famer in 2008, people expected a happy future for the couple. However, the marriage folded 15 months after the exchange of their vows. Since then, Evert’s relationship status has been kept private. Nonetheless, finding love again may hopefully be not that hard when you have 18 Grand Slam titles in your trophy cabinet.
