Sports and rivalries are two terms often used synonymously with each other. An apt example of it has been Cameron Smith and Dustin Johnson. Ever since joining LIV Golf, the two have been in a constant battle to outplay the other. However, despite the cut-throat rivalry, Smith and Johnson have made sure to cover it up with a blanket of grace.

As mentioned earlier, the two have made sure to cover their rivalry with a blanket of grace. This was no different. Responding to the question, Smith asserted, “I think he’s (Dustin Johnson) probably the one on the group of players that you look at. You think he’ll be pretty close to the top of the leaderboard everywhere.” “I hope he thinks the same about me. Hopefully, we can keep this going,” Smith further added.

Smith outplayed Dustin Johnson with a difference of -3. With his strokes in place, Smith secured the top spot on the leaderboard with a score of -13 in Chicago. Following Smith in third place was Dustin Johson with a score of -10.

The win rightly comes in as an answer to Dustin Johnson’s win in Boston earlier this month. Walking down memory lane, Johnson came out victorious in the Boston leg of LIV Golf that took place from 2nd to 4th September. While Johnson secured the top spot with a score of -15, Cameron Smith closely followed on T4 with a score of -14.
