Brooks Koepka and other stars catch the eyes of fans

Just like in all the previous events, the 2023 LIV Golf Orlando title winner will be playing at the London event too this week. Fortunately for the fans, they didn’t have to wait until the event began to spot the golf pro. Well, at least in spirit!

Just hours ago, a pitch-black van was seen circling the streets in front of Buckingham Palace. On it were advertised the headshots of the biggest LIV stars and their names! The list included the one and only “Captain Brooks Koepka”, as per Smash GC’s latest Twitter post of the van, as well as other prominent figures of the series like Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith, and a few others.

What’s at stake for the LIV stars at the London event?

This Saudi-backed league had 14 events on their roster this year. More than halfway through their season, they’re now hosting their ninth event of 2023. Following the incredible showdown last week at the Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande, Spain, that ended on July 2nd, the league is now in London, all set for the event to be on Friday at The Centurion Club.

Just like all other LIV events, the London tournament will also feature a demanding 54-hole stroke play design, in which its 48-player roster will compete for the whopping $25 million purse, of which $20 million will be split amongst the golfers for the individual event, and the remaining 5 million will be awarded to the top 3 teams as per their standings on Sunday.
