Kyle Berkshire gets candid about the future of the PGA Tour players
The former World Long Drive Champion was interviewed by Alex Lodge from GolfMagic in Florida last week. There, he revealed the most important thing that players should concentrate on in the future. Players who want to compete for the top rankings in a decade, according to Berkshire, will need a fast stroke speed.
The 2020 PLDA National Championship believes that speed is key. “We will see a time within the next one to two years where the average ball speed on tour will eclipse 180 mph,” he stated. “It’s already getting close to that; it’s like 176, 177.” But he believes that will need to improve.
