The golf diva revealed she still gets nervous when she is visiting any new golf courses. Revealing why she feels that way, she said, “I think it is because when I go there I know there are two sets of people – people who like what I do and people who don’t like what I do. And my name is on my bag so it’s pretty obvious sometimes. I always get nervous about what their reaction is going to be.” But she had a solid piece of advice for fellow golf fans feeling the same way.

How does Paige Spiranac overcome her social anxiety?

Delving further into the question, she revealed that asking for directions from others at a new golf course also used to make her anxious. However, a talk with herself led her to drop all her inhibitions about interacting with people on the greens.

“I always just try to remember that deep down, no one really cares. It’s okay to ask for directions and questions,” she said. The golf influencer believes all players are too busy thinking about their own game to worry about others. So one should not feel ashamed to ask questions and play, because that is what everyone is there for.
