So, Amanda Balionis, one of golf’s most prominent broadcasters, also shared the trailers on her Instagram Stories, amplifying the moment for the fan base.

“I would describe the 2025 golf season as electric,” Balionis said in a trailer for the series. “We saw hearts broken, history made, the culmination of the most anticipated team event.”

Full Swing has become a must-watch for golf fans since its debut in 2023. The show takes viewers behind the scenes of the PGA Tour, unveiling the personalities and pressures that other cameras often miss. Produced by Box to Box Films, the same team responsible for Formula 1: Drive to Survive, it showcases their talent for transforming elite sports into engaging behind-the-scenes stories.

Since its debut, Full Swing has done for golf what Drive to Survive did for Formula 1: introducing the sport to an entirely new global audience. Viewers who never watched a round of golf are finding themselves emotionally invested in the player, their rivalries, and the heartbreak that comes along. Season 4 certainly arrives with arguably the richest material the show has ever worked with. And we definitely don’t suggest missing it. For golf fans, April 17 cannot come soon enough.

Golf Fans Flood Social Media with One Unified Message

“Seeing the behind the scenes is gonna be 🔥,” one fan wrote, as another said, “electric”.

That access to behind-the-scenes is exactly what the show has built its reputation on. Season four originally looked like it might focus exclusively on the Ryder Cup, with a potential standalone Masters special for McIlroy. Instead, Netflix expanded the scope, though it still trimmed the episode count from seven to four, the tightest the series has ever run.

“Let’s go! This is so exciting, I can’t wait,” read another reaction.

The cast confirms there is plenty to be excited about. Alongside McIlroy and Fleetwood, the season features Keegan Bradley, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Cameron Young, Ben Griffin, and Chris Gotterup, a lineup that spans the Ryder Cup rosters and some of the tour’s most compelling individual stories from 2025.

For some, the April 17 timing felt perfectly placed. “Yay, something to look forward to after The Masters,” one viewer posted.

“This is my Christmas,” came another reaction.

There’s no doubt about what made the 2025 season so exciting. To highlight a few key moments, Rory McIlroy completed his Grand Slam at The Masters, while Scottie Scheffler continued to dominate on the course. J.J. Spaun had a breakthrough at the U.S. Open, and Tommy Fleetwood finally secured his long-awaited FedEx Cup victory.

The chaos of the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black also added to the excitement. For a sport that delivered so much in 2025, this teaser feels like it barely scratches the surface, yet promises a story for the ages.

Not every comment was purely celebratory, though. “How in the world did it take so long to put together?” one fan questioned.

It is a fair point; it has been almost 14 months since Full Swing season three landed on Netflix. But with April 17 now confirmed, the wait is nearly over. And needless to say, your plate is going to be full with two weeks of the Masters and the behind-the-scenes. Stay tuned!
