Rory McIlroy’s exciting new venture
The Northern Irishman has recently joined an esteemed roster of sports people, making the headlines. The list has something to do with the F1 racing team, Alpine. The team’s official Twitter handle has posted a picture of the stars with the caption, “What a line-up.”
The handle shared a link responding to a comment that asked more for information. The link had a detailed explanation of the ‘lineup’. Apparently, the stars mentioned in the list have invested in Alpine through their association with Otro Capitals.
The Alpine F1 team, backed by the Renault group, received an investment from Otro Capital earlier this year. Rory McIlroy and the star sportsmen have now become investors in Alpine through their stakes at the investment firm.

McIlroy and his cross-sports investment
This isn’t the first time Rory McIlroy has invested in a sports venture with stars from other sports. In fact, one of his investments includes Tiger Woods himself.
Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy together started TMRW Sports, an aesthetic abbreviation of ‘Tomorrow Sports’. Their first investor, besides the two of them, was F1 icon Lewis Hamilton.
The announcement about Lewis Hamilton mentioned that of the investors, he was in the pole position, showing the potential stakes he held in the venture. While many others have joined the Woods-McIlroy endeavor, it remains to be seen where the association takes them.
