Tiger Woods has suffered a massive setback due to the merger of PGA Tour and LIV Golf. The golf GOAT who showed respect and loyalty to the PGA Tour during its rift with the Saudi backed league, received the shock of a lifetime when he was literally betrayed by the very Tour she stood by.

Brooks Koepka is riding a new high thanks to his massive win at the PGA Championship. Not only did the 33-year-old take home the prize money of $3.15 million, but he also enjoyed the glory of winning a PGA tournament as a LIV defector. The new merger only added more to his happiness. And with the US Open starting on 15th June, Koepka is eyeing another major victory at the Los Angeles Country Club this week in the absence of Woods.

It can?t be denied that Koepka is in great form. And if he won at the 123rd US Open, he will become the sixth player to win three US Opens in his career. A privilege enjoyed by Tiger Woods till now since 2008.?Koepka has won the U.S. Open in?2017 and 2018. In 2017 he gave a stellar performance at Erin Hills and shined with a 16-under 272. Then again in 2018, he took home the trophy by beating Dustin Johnson by two strokes. It made him the seventh player to win the title consecutively and also took him back to his world no.1 rank.

It is no mystery that Woods has achieved some extraordinary feats. He is one of those few players who has won all four professional major championships in their career, At the US Open, Woods has won three times. He earned his first Open in 2000 at a historic victory at Pebble Beach, one for the ages. Then two years later he won again at Bethpage Black, Long Island in 2002 which he also called the ?narrowest U.S. Open course?. His third and last to-date win came in 2008 when he made his way to the trophy with a 19-hole playoff while recovering from surgery.
