LIV Golf’s off-season changes are set to change the dynamic on greens. Not only will we see some new names raking the greens, but we might also witness some old dynamics come back to life. Amid these transformations, out with the old, and in with the new, LIV Golf next year will have a play-in tournament. What this entails is a 36-hole play-in tournament in Abu Dhabi called “LIV Golf Promotions,” for players to join the tour directly. The tourney will be played from December 8-10 and will offer a massive $1.5 million purse.

Another one of the biggest changes is going to be a re-sign period with zones where, at the end of each season, LIV will categorize players on expiring contracts into three zones: Lock Zone, Open Zone, and Drop Zone. The players will also get free agency to sign on any of the teams of their liking.
