While interacting with fans, the PGA Championship winner came across a simple question from a little fan of his. “Did you play good or rubbish? an innocent voice asked. The voice was so soft that Harrington couldn’t hear the question. The child repeated it with an adult coming to his aid. The adult made it clear for the two-time British Open Championship winner as to what the little fan had said.

Hearing the question led to a round of chuckles from the fans in attendance. “I played good,” Harrington answered the child with a smile to everyone. Harrington finished round one of the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open with a three-under 67 thanks to four birdies and one bogey. He came up with a four-under 66 in the second round.
