Allisen Corpuz won the US Women’s Open last year, and with the win, made it to the headlines for her exceptional game plan. Well, apart from that, she also managed to garner deep interest in the golf community with her personal life, with speculations of her being married last year. However, while she confirmed that she was yet to tie the knot, it seems she’s found the love of her life in her long-term boyfriend Daniel Eckstrom!

Daniel Eckstrom is an army officer, who is now serving as a captain. He has been one of the strongest pillars of support in Corpuz’s life, on and off the greens. Notably, the couple has been together for over seven years now, which is bound to have made their relationship a source of motivation and stability in her life. 

And, that was evident when, after winning the first-ever Majors trophy in her career, Corpuz had said, “He and his family are just the best. He’s supportive. No matter what happens on the golf course, he always has my back. He came to the weekends to watch the Cali events and he watched me at the U.S. Open. Both he and his family are phenomenal and I’m so lucky to have them.”

The support in their relationship has been mutual throughout. While Daniel Eckestorm supports Allisen Corpuz in conquering the professional world of golf, Corpuz supports him and cheers him up in his military journey. It is safe to say, that she is indeed his biggest cheerleader. He was enrolled in a flight school at the University of Southern California, and when he earned the badge of becoming a captain, like the loving partner she is, Corpuz excitedly shared a picture of them together in their beach backyard, captioning it, “No cap, he’s a 10 😍 Congrats Captain Eckstrom!! ❤️”.

With such a long tenure, they have left the fans speculating whether they are still ‘simply dating’ or do they have any nuptial plans ahead soon! But, fret not, the golfer recently cleared the air regarding her relationship status!

It’s a Yes!

Although the couple has managed to keep things pretty much private in order to probably avoid negative attention, around a few months ago, Allisen Corpuz took to her official Instagram account and posted a series of pictures with her boyfriend at the beach, announcing her engagement. The wholesome post left the entire golf community completely enthralled. Suggesting that she said yes to forever with Eckstrom, in the caption Corpuz wrote, “Have been, am, always will be (yours)”.

Even the photographer who took the beautiful pictures of the couple in their favorite spot, the beach backyard, shared the pictures on her profile. “While I’m excited about all the magic I’ll create out in the desert, beach sessions will always hold a special place in my heart,” she wrote.
