The co-sanctioned event by the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour is an alternate tournament to the Genesis Scottish Open and will be hosted at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Although the excitement around the ISCO Championship is high among golfers, it is their last chance, along with the Genesis Scottish Open, to qualify for the Open Championship. However, with the top players already competing at the Scottish Open, the alternate event is not as competitive as it might be.

As an alternate event before the final Major of the season, the field does not include any players from the top 50 of the OWGR list. Nonetheless, there are talented rising stars like Neal Shipley, Alejandro Tosti, and Daniel Berger, who might spice up the action. Even Luke Clanton, who bagged the T2 finish at the John Deere Classic, will be a part of the field.

Amateur golfer Neal Shipley made it to the Masters and, although he finished T53, playing at Augusta National as a rookie is a significant achievement. He also finished T26 at the US Open and T20 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last week. However, he missed the cut at the John Deere Classic, so perhaps this is his time to shine and secure a spot in the Open Championship.

Do you think Neal Shipley will secure the golden ticket to the final Major and make his mark? Stay tuned to find out!
