The World Golf Hall of Famer Tiger Woods is on an injury-forced hiatus from professional play. But the golf world is not devoid of the ‘Woods’ name in his absence. While the epic PGA Tour Pro takes time off to recoup, his son Charlie Woods has picked up the baton. Not only is the 14-year-old dedicated to carving his name alongside his father in golfing history, but he is also taking a few stabs at more pronounced accomplishments.

The golf world was left in a tizzy by the demonstration of young Charlie’s skills against his competitors while Father Woods beamed proudly. And much like his father, little Woods also likes competition; so much so that he already has a rival on the greens. While both celebrity golf kids have a legacy to live up to, their competition against each other is just as thrilling.

Young Mr. Woods astounded the golfing cosmos when he took a tee shot yards ahead of his competitors on a terrain of rough and water. He followed that spectacular display with tremendous poise when questioned by Justin Thomas about his choice of hat. But the real competition for the 14-year-old aspiring golfer is actually an 11-year-old child prodigy who already has an ace to his name.

LPGA GOAT golfer Annika Sorenstam’s son Will McGee has gained great popularity with a smooth display of skills. The young boy scored his first hole-in-one and made his parents proud. However, what makes him a prominent figure is his ongoing rivalry with Charlie Woods. Although their relationship off the golf course is left to the imagination, on the greens, the two celebrity children of golf contest each other in more ways than one.

While Tiger Woods’ son is a scratch golfer who achieved a 0.0 handicap last year, McGee scored a hole-in-one. Charlie is yet to achieve an ace, although his driving distance is exemplary. The 47-year-old PGA Tour Pro has often stated that his son learned to play so well while watching him. Charlie perfected his shots over time and with one of the most distinguished names in the golfing community coaching him, he has displayed measurable progress with his swings and putts.

Annika Sorenstam, on the other hand, has frequently shared titbits about her son, Will, who is popular as a ‘golf nut.’ He loves competing against his peers, sure, but he also enjoys giving his mother a run for her money. Evidently, McGee spends hours thinking about his golf game and plays in his mind when he is not on the links. He is so thoroughly invested in the game that sometimes offers advice to his mother.
