The downhill curve of Lydia Ko
Lydia Ko has not seen a win in a while, but sadly, she has seen downslopes in her performances. She has not had the best season this year. However, problems are still not behind the golfer.
After her fall from grace comes her fall in two more stats – strokes gained total and strokes gained putting. This was brought to the attention of fans and the golfing community by Justin Ray.
Ray took to Twitter to tweet, “Ko led the LPGA Tour last season in both strokes gained total and strokes gained putting. She’s 78th and 88th in those two statistics this season.”

This fall has just added to the gravity of her dropping off the top 10 list. The BMW Ladies Championship has, however, brought out new hope for the golfer who looks forward to defending her title this year.

The LPGA golfer currently who is ranked 13th in the Rolex World Rankings is showing good improvement in her game. She is currently in South Korea playing at Seowon Hills Golf and Country Club.

She is the defending champion for the $2.2 million event. After the first round, she is at five under par. This score puts her five shots off the lead onto the 11th position. With three more days coming up, it gives her a good chance to recover and grab the victory. This will also be crucial in bringing her up in the world rankings.
